Last art class with the kids was full of wonderful surprises. The last thing they did was work with oil pastel on illustration boards and it was fun to see how different everyone’s art was. The boys did drawing of fantasy creatures and then went on to work with some modeling clay to create them. I love that! And these creatures are very cool. The big blue one is hanging out with the Peepeye Critters on the window ledge in the studio. He is very cool to see each day.

Fun Fun Fun…. It’s getting around to the time up here where there are interesting things going on… thankfully. Twilight Festivals, Art Festivals, and this weekend, we’re going to the Scottish Highland Games in Kansas City, which it was always juuuuussst too far to make it from down there. I hate not being down there, but it could be worse, I expect. Did you get my message about getting on the mailing list to get an application for next year’s September Festival of the Arts up here?
