It’s getting better all the time…
That is probably also true of the situation with the house, although on days like today it can be tough to remember. A little digging revealed a leak far more serious than anticipated. A trench is being dug by a friend and I am pulling up the floor of the sunroom which has been resting on rotten joists and is soft a third of the way through the room. All this in the interest of keeping the basement from flooding by a system of dry creeks and french drains. I’ll get a photo of the floor tomorrow and show you the horror of it all. The good part is that once the plumber has replaced the supply line the showers will be stronger. Then I’ll be able to get clean after installing the new floor. I’m hoping to get the sunroom project wrapped up in a week.
