I have posted a couple times before about my online friend, Julie Jordan Scott whom I admire and enjoy so much. Julie has been doing a self portrait a day and, while the daily practice will simply not be happening here, I have begun to photograph myself from time to time and try to get a glimpse of what I might look like outside the mirror. I find Julie’s photos of herself inspiring because they seem to reveal many sides of her. I found it interesting that when I shot a bunch of myself, the only ones I kept were from the left side. I wonder if it’s just they way I held the camera or some vanity sneaking in. I may need to get someone else to photograph me.

You look so beautiful - the first thing I saw was your hair, the beautiful colors and the rhythm of the waves. Your eyes, I felt you looking into my eyes and I love the glasses you chose. I also feel a determined shyness in your expression. So interesting - and so glad to know I provided inspiration.
Thanks, Julie!
