Everyone who attended the first Studio Play Day on Saturday did a great job on their cards. I was amazed at how many new techniques they both learned and created. In the photos above you can see that many different types of materials were used, including papers from all over the world, threads, ribbon, fabric, paints, stamps, adhesives, wire mesh, markers, paint pens, glitter, iron-on threads, buttons, and one altogether necessary jingle bell. Click on photo above for larger image. Oh, and in case you were wondering, I opened my evening of karaoke with I Feel Fine.

Beautiful beautiful cards. I don’t think three of the people who created them will be too thrilled that I found your site, but I certainly look forward to recieving them, and trying to learn all the methods you taught them. It’s nice to find a site that tells me more about all the stuff my mom, sister, and good friend are doing. Thank you. I look forward to more posts, and plenty more pictures.

Hi Erin-across-the sea! I know you will be getting at least one very special card made in the class. I don’t think the joy of receiving such a gift will be at all spoiled by your little preview here. It has been fun for me to have my new studio and I love the classes. As you can see, I have some of the nicest people in town coming to take them. Find your passport, save your money, and get over here and take one with us! You’d love the sense of play this room inspires and I’d like to see your sweet smile again. Kathryn
