I thought I’d say farewell to the 20th Annual May festival of the Arts by posting another wonderful art car that rolled down Spring Street in the Artrageous Parade.
I am so happy the art cars came to Eureka Springs! I hope more will come each year and that we will need an art car parade in addition to the Artrageous Parade. I’ve been planning to do something fabulous to mine, but somehow it always seems to be the lowest priorty project on the line-up. Maybe by next May….lord knows, I’ve got a closet full of oddities waiting to see if they’ll be on parade.

Check out the site and please spread the word! We need this event, the third year for art cars, to guarantee that this will be an annual Eureka event.
We will give you our full support in any way we can for you to complete your car. The photo you posted was car that belonged to a dear friend of mine, Marilyn Dreampeace. She knew she was dying when she came to Eureka last year. Marilyn made it the Rainbow Gathering with us but didn’t live to see 2008. google her name.
Namaste, Phil
Hi Phil, I’ll be sure to blog more about the art cars this year and to link to your site. I have been thinking a lot about doing my car now that it’s running again. I’ll likely sand it to the primer and see what develops from there.
