We had the bench unveiling and artist introductions just before the Artrageous Parade. It was fun to talk about my bench and I am happy to have created something bold, playful, and organic. I think that might have been the first time I held a microphone and did not sing karaoke! The park was completely packed and it was difficult to get a good view of the benches while they were hard at work supporting rear ends! I was lucky to get the above shots of my bench. I hope you like seeing it. If you visit our incredible town this year, you can sit on it! The benches will be auctioned off at the end of April 2008 to make way for the next round of bench artists and raise a little money for our parks commission.
