I’m deep into a silly new project for one of my favorite customers. I’ve written before about the value of working with people who are good at communicating their vision for their home or office. This highly organized and busy woman takes the cake! I have been provided six panels and the above diagram, with even the colors all mapped out and I am basically measuring and taping and doing this project like a giant paint by number! The big upside is that this has a specific application and the client will get exactly her vision and I’ll have done something I never would have thought of doing. These six faux window panels will present a cartoon-ish look inside each of three new treehouse cottages. As a matter of fact, you can see the original existing themed cottages she created just down the street from me by visiting their website, Oak Crest Treehouses and Cottages. I’ll post some pics when they’re done so you can see the real thing, well, the real faux thing!
