Zeek Taylor took first place in his category for another fabulous and fun costume. I loved the little dance he did all the way down. Very graceful. Zeek is a wonderful painter, famous for his apes in clothing and luscious florals. His work is at Eurekan Art on N. Main St.
Everyone came out to enjoy this parade. It’s the big kick off to a month long celebration of art. The parade was great this year with surprising new entrants and old favorites. We welcomed the art cars and are so excited to be growing our own little group of car artists. I hope to join them in next year’s parade. We had the unveiling of the new park benches before the parade. I had a good time talking about my bench art, listening to the other artists, and squeezing in peeks at all the cool bench art. Eureka Springs is definitely the place to be in May.
