Here’s the 12″ x 12″ painting that is the partner of the bugged out painting in yesterday’s post. It’s a beautiful baby blue scooter. It must belong to someone who works in or owns an equally charming shop in town next to this little spot where it rests. I love it and it seems a fitting mode of transportation for our cheerful and lovely town. Unfortunately this is one of those paintings which is hard to get a great photo of. Something the digital camera does with certain colors and patterns that I have to get a handle on for these paintings which have thin washes of paint which allow the yexture of the canvas to peek through. Any tips?
